Let me start by stating I am slightly finicky about the products I use. The “products” I use on my face and skin is usually organic coconut oil. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Equilibre is a vegan product. They list all the ingredients of the cream on their website. They have made it interactive so you can click on each ingredient to see how it is healthy AND beneficial.
Their products are also animal friendly. They contain no added chemicals or artificial anything. The scents are mild and soothing to both humans and horses.
The Hand Cream
I received the “firm” grip hand cream from Equilibre for an unbiased review. It states “fast drying,” and it dries within a matter of seconds. My hands are fairly rough, especially after horse shows and the Equilibre hand cream was soothing and very effective.
What I loved about the Equilibre hand cream – fast drying, it’s not greasy! It has a faint, pleasant smell- nothing overpowering, and it is both vegan and animal friendly and they list all the ingredients.
They Give Back
Equilibre has set the bar for vegan cosmetics. Not only does the cream work, it smells good and feels good. Equilibre has selected a variety of both large and small equestrian organizations to donate a portion of the proceeds to. Each package has a sticker of the organization the sale has supported.
I have to note that while the hand cream is impressive, the packaging is unlike any I’ve seen. Its stunning, classy, and immediately attracted me to the product.
There are well written descriptions as well as ingredients, what organization the proceeds have gone to, and snippets of what Equilibre is and what they stand for. Very beautiful and the perfect setting for an equestrian product.
